Baja SAE

An offroad vehicle

I worked on this project first as a student and later as a mentor for other students during my time at Khalifa university. I learned a lot not only by working on the design, but also teaching simulation and design skills to students that were shadowing me. I also put together fun and engaging workshops to teach undergraduate students these important engineering and problem-solving skills. Below are just a few examples of the kind of engineering work that I managed to pass on to my students. The final outcome of this project was to participate in the annual Baja SAE competition held in the United States.

The finished vehicle passed rigorous technical screening at the Baja SAE competition in Maryland. We completed all the racing events and were the first team from our country (the UAE) to take part in such an event.

This was a team effort and would not have made that far with them.

The team!
